All loopholes figured out, and funds have been sent to begin this process. We should have a legal structure sufficient to apply for online credit card processing within 30 days. Within 30 days also, we will have a bank account to which we can receive wire transfers.
Wireless firmware upgrades almost completely working.
There are still some issues with transmission errors and acknowledgment packets but we're able to change the program, recompile, and reprogram the DL2000 wirelessly through the DL2K-LINK.
This means that software upgrades in the future can be posted online on our site for download, and you can download the upgrade, fire up the DL2K-LINK control panel, and transmit. So your product can be kept up to date with the latest features, bug fixes and improvements, without becoming obsolete.
The DL2000 uses a color indicator (full color LED) to signal the state it's in and what kind of packets it's receiving. This is a small demo created while writing the firmware functions which allow customization of the colors through the DL2K-LINK
The firmware is being mostly rewritten trying to incorporate all functions which were tested separately until now, and to enable the wireless firmware upgrades which are really the most tricky RF transmission for the following reasons:
The PCB design is final, and has been tested to death. And here are the true actual printed circuit boards your product will be shipped with. White, gold-plated, classy.
The PCB is only 0.8mm thick, thin enough to test the final remote control assembly results (PCB + components + battery pack + rubber keypad coming up soon + light pipe + overlay).
The saying "mad as a hatter" came out because people used to use lead to make hats. So hatters were all a bit odd.
Now LED manufacturers are by far the craziest suppliers in China. You already know from yesterday's post about the yin/yang RGB riddle which we couldn't decipher at all.
"Dear sir, I have one question about 5mm RGB,This product is a total of yin or yang and What is the use of the product? Thanks!"
