2010-04-23 09:06:45 (5102 views) The saying "mad as a hatter" came out because people used to use lead to make hats. So hatters were all a bit odd.
Now LED manufacturers are by far the craziest suppliers in China. You already know from yesterday's post about the yin/yang RGB riddle which we couldn't decipher at all.
"Dear sir, I have one question about 5mm RGB,This product is a total of yin or yang and What is the use of the product? Thanks!"
Now the same dude's saying:
"tonight i will cheak. and tomorrow i will mailing it to you .don't worry.
we have RGB color Experience 12years. and wish to Cooperation"
This is after we proved to him that
a) the samples he sent are wrong
b) his specsheet (checked and signed by engineers, Q&A and marketing) is wrong (circuit shows common anode, label says common cathode)
c) they don't know the difference between common anode and common cathode RGB leds, underlined by a 2-part diagram of both types, both labeled "common anode" which he just drew by hand and sent us
So, either they mixed up their anodes and cathodes on the 11th year, or inhaling Indium Gallium Nitride has side effects. Either way we probably should worry a bit more next time before we pay for samples. Oh well, he's still eager to rectify...
Just got another email, it seems he's a bit depressed...
"you are so hard working.
and you see my English is very poor.
everyday .i got up earlier to read English.but not useful, just now you called me .and see my English can't talk with Foreigner .
so i feel so sad"
InGaN is NOT fluoxetine.
To the next... China Moment.
