How does it work?? I can't find information about the usage of this device. Could you please post pictures or video of this device in action please?? I'm excited!
I don't get it either. For instance, what's the difference with a conventional key safe which allows remote release by revealing the PIN with a phone call or SMS?
My first impressions are that this seems to be a great product, but sadly no Mac support :-( If I knew the details I could write the software but I if knew the details I could cheat so I don't want to know them. A bit of a catch-22 and anyway I doubt if D.L.Labs would release the details to a third party. I wouldn't. At least Macs are Intel based (mines a Core i7 laptop with solid state hard drive and 140dpi screen). Would it be possible to supply an Intel library to encapsulate the security and still allow the user interface to be written by me? Please?
As for the clue deacclimate (or de-acclimatise for English people like me), could that not be equally applied to almost all of the suggestions made by every respondent?
Is the 317 GBP price inclusive or exclusive of value added tax?
Whilst I am confident I would find it easy to destroy the ChronoVault in my workshop (11 inch lathe, vertical mill, huge bench vice, 5 kilo sledge hammer, hacksaws, airsaw etc), as you say I could not hide my actions from my Mistress.
I would like to store more keys than just the ones to a chastity device in a ChronoVault. I would like to lock myself into female clothes and lock away my male clothes, but for this I WOULD like an emergency code which would electronically tell my mistress I had cheated rather than physically destroy 300 pounds of product. If this is not possible I will have to keep a second set of keys in one of those one time closable key boxes signed by my Mistress. I do not think my Mistress would want me to have to answer the door in female guise if relatives popped in unexpectedly. Nor if we were playing a game remotey with me constrained, would she want me to die if a fire broke out and the fire caused the internet router to fail so she could neither see what was happening nor open the ChronoVault.
I fully accept that many users would not need this facility but I think a significant percentage would. For me I think also having the one time key safe for all the keys EXCEPT the chastity device key could be a workable solution, but no Mac support is the killer. Please at least look into the feasibility of a Mac version. Apple has gained a lot of market share in recent years despite Steve Job's ill health, may he rest in peace.
You should be able to use it on a Mac using Parallels or similar software.
Emergency; in that case you could set yourself as device owner and assign ownership to her. You still have the option of revoking ownership in case of emergency, but this would be reported when she logs in.
Excellent, as long as learning to use Windows emulation does not take too long. Hopefully at my end of the control loop there would very little to do once the device was set up and ownership assigned. Little to do on Windows that is, lots of curtseying and bobbing and cleaning or whatever my Mistress commands hopefully:-)
If the final ChronoVault manual has not been completed, could it cover setting up parallels for a Windows novice but long time Mac user please?
You did not tell me the tax situation in the UK. With the value added tax rate now at 20%, it makes quite a bit of difference whether it is included or gets charged on top.
We are unable to assist with 3rd party software. The price is inclusive of all taxes and fees except for shipping which only costs a few pounds to the United Kingdom.
It looks like a great product but I'm struggling with understanding its need in a husband and wife scenario. I definitely see its use for long distance keyholding and over the internet control but is there a use for it for a couple which the wife holds the keys on her person? How does it improve incentive in the relationship I just described compared to her just holding onto the key other than it removes a degree of spontaneity for the keyholder?
In a "local owner" scenario the ChronoVault offers a convenient way to set and track the chastity period and secure the keys. In "owner lockout mode" no one can access the keys (not even the owner), hence the chastity period cannot be appealed and is more easily accepted.
We will also have "deacclimation" (deacclimatisation) tools which will allow trackable, progressive increase of chastity period to reach a specified target deemed to be proper by the owner.
I have an idea. I haven't read through everything so excuse me if it has already been posted, but what about some people who do not have a keyholder, or have a wife who likes having a guy in chastity but is not a very good keyholder? (like myself for example). She would always keep the keys in her underwear drawer or give in if I beg enough.
Is there an option for a "randomize lock up time"? If I put in for example to random between 2 weeks to 3 months, then the chronovault can then lock for a specific time it chooses between the times I gave it? There can be another option with that, that it will either show me the time it chose, or not show me at all and I have to guess when it would be?
I forgot to add in the last comment I sent, maybe another twist in the lock up game would be that I ask the chronovault to lock me for a random amount of time I gave it, then its locked. But when it unlocks, it will stay open for x amount of time. 1 hour for example. If I did not retrieve the keys, it locks again and the timer is reset. Perhaps for half the time and repeat? (with a note on the computer that I missed my opportunity)
