It is possible to use one of the two star-shaped rubber pieces which come with the device, until a better replacement is found; these rubber parts were meant to insure contact between the internals but most times aren't really needed as the pieces make contact without them.
Remember that for CB6000 and CB6000S models a small modification is required prior to installing the DreamLover 2000. This modification involves creating a hole with a soldering iron and cleaning up the excess plastic around the hole. There is absolutely no danger of damaging the CB or breaking it, since the molten area actually joins the two halves better than the manufacturer's sonic weld and no impact or drilling is necessary.
However for those of you who would rather have us carry out this modification, we're temporarily offering to do this (US clients only, brand new CB device to be shipped to us directly from the manufacturer/distributor).
