Compatibility

2011-01-28 10:59:56 (13194 views)

We've come across the "Birdcage" chastity device. The ring-cage locking system is similar to that of CBx000 type devices. If anyone owns this device you are invited to report the horizontal and vertical distance between the pins/holes. The DL2000 may be compatible with this device too, provided that the electrodes are insulated from the cage body (perhaps with a thin layer of non-conductive material). With some luck the pins will also have similar distance - but if not it wouldn't be hard to make two supplementary holes in the DL2000 attachment rubber piece for these to slide through.

Birdcage: The distance between the aligning pins is one inch (center to center) and the diameter of the pins is about one eighth of an inch. The main locking pin is about three sixteenths of an inch. The cb xx00s distance between the aligning pins is one and one half inches and about five thirty seconds in diameter.

Better than the birdcage is the Jail Lock. smaller, more comfortable and much less conspicuous under clothing. Almost identical alignment measurements as the Birdcage.

Thanks. What is the vertical distance between the center of the main locking pin and the center of the aligning pins, when the device is mounted?

And do you perhaps mean the Jail House?

It doesn't have pins.
It has a tab on the cage proper with a slot at the end, and the ring has to tabs that come together and push through a hole in the tab.

I had no problems attaching standard medical supply electrodes (for tens units) with standard silicone caulking compound. (Sand first)
The caulking compound serves as both glue and insulation.
If I were to do it over, I'd probably put on one insulation layer and let it set, and then the layer to use as glue.

So you have insulated the two pieces, and are actually using the pieces themselves as electrodes right? This is very interesting, though we don't know what that may feel like compared to our electrode design. The risk is that the current will go through a tiny portion of skin between the scrotum and the base of the shaft as opposed to traveling through the entire shaft.

Certainly worth a try though.
By the way are we talking about the same bird cage?

Apparently not the same bird cage.

I'm talking about the Texas based company SCC's birdcage (as used to be shown on Altairboy's site, and is now listed without pictures.)
I got mine about 15 years or so ago.

From the prior message I can only assume some company unfamiliar with the field's history is reusing SCC's name for their product for a new product. What company is it that is using name for a new product?

As for what I did... No, I'm not using the metal cage as a electrode. I'm merely glueing standard medical electrodes inside the cage against the organ, insulating them from the cage.

Hi,

Yes the CB is the Jail House. The distance between the main locking pin and the alignment pins is five eighths of an inch
By dreamloverlabs at 2011-01-30 23:31:29 Reply
That is the vertical distance? Seems less from the picture..
By sailor3 at 2011-01-31 19:30:54 Reply
The distance vertical from the center of the main locking pin and the small alignment pins is EXACTLY five eighths of an inch.
By sailor3 at 2011-01-31 19:32:30 Reply
Forgot to add five eighths center to center.
By dreamloverlabs at 2011-02-01 06:56:54 Reply
Probably too much vertical spacing...
