2010-11-07 00:20:53 (6272 views) About to order the transparent cabling for motor and electrodes, and requesting a final sample confirmation before we go ahead with the order since as you know screw-ups occur quite frequently in China...
Already received 2 bad samples from cable companies. This is what we got today:
"Nuclear Power Plant used Class 1E, Category K3 Compensatory Cable"
Not sure if that means "used" as in second-hand which would be a reason for concern, but this is the description:
It is normally used in the class KC, KX thermocouple compensatory system outside the shield of the nuclear power plant which controls emergency stop of the reactor, isolating the security shield, emergency cooling of the reactor core, removing the afterheat of the reactor and the workshop, preventing from letting the radioactive substance into the environment when the earthquake does not exceed the load for that.
Do not worry - we do not plan on using this cable and we have no plans for new features involving mushroom clouds coming out of anyone's pants.
What we should all be worrying about, though, is the thought that an actual nuclear plant somewhere may be getting a transparent silicone male management and arousal inducing cable to connect to their security shield...
