Silent commands can be customized through this screen.



However, most of the time it won't be necessary or even beneficial to change the patterns.

In fact, it would be very beneficial to commit to a default set of actions before launch, for a few reasons including:

- all males studying on courses with default settings will learn to associate default vibration patterns to default commands; we can create a standard, very useful in multiple owners/multiple males situations, or, social situations when multiple remotes are available.

- in the future we may produce an over-overlay or a back sticker for the remote control to make it easier to activate these modes (alpha key + other keys), in this case again having a standard set of actions allows us to make a design and send the resulting sticker to everyone

Keep in mind there are only 9 customizable commands so space is limited. The last command cannot be changed as it's reserved for Canine Mode warning (the pattern itself can be changed).

I speak about the kind of pattern used in silent command. a mix of short arousal inducer activation and silent times, with no use of the electrodes ?

In your above example, patterns are set at 100 millisecond resolution. Are on/off patterns that quick discernible? Is the time resolution a constant across all the different patterns? If it's a software variable on the PC end, could we get a different time constant for each pattern (for more flexibility)?

Oh, and one of the patterns needs to be for "Come to the computer with DL2K-Link. Further instructions will be on the screen. A five foot leash will be activated in 3 minutes."

Silent commands will mostly be sent from the remote control. For instance, to communicate secretly when others are present. Or when the wearer is too far.

No point issuing them from the DL2K-LINK except for "scheduled tasks". Even in the case of tasks, it would be better to have one such command, the male can then go to the terminal and read what the task is, supposing he's close enough to the PC.

Time resolution is a constant across all patterns.

Each "interval" is 100ms so the whole pattern is 2.4 seconds in the example. This is discernible even in a noisy environment because vibration is used.

Two consecutive ONs feel like a single double length ON so it's like morse code in some ways.

Is 100 ms on and 100 ms off able to be discerned by the male? It seems like the sequence would happen so fast it would be difficult for the male to keep count of the pulses to know the action to take. Can the 100 ms time interval be change to say, 500 ms?

Yes, definitely. Tested. Doesn't seem like much time at all but when you have 24 of these the pattern lasts several seconds. You can tell the difference between the patterns.
