Clear enclosure by day

After the fourth "touch up" to this clear enclosure prototype by our perpetually apologetic prototype gal in Xiamen, and the fourth consecutive mess-up, finally the part has been fixed at Jason's factory.

We are now in the final waterproofing testing phase, which should last 24-48 hours. After this phase we will give the go ahead for the plastic mold.

There will be two "dead" days because of "Dragon Boat" holidays. We're receiving many odd and spammy emails from mold manufacturers we may have contacted over a year ago. For instance, this...

Looking at those two side-by-side: I'm really warming up to the idea of a translucent "in-between" option for the receiver. Either a smoky white color or a a smoky gray color. I'm kinda leaning towards the gray. It would be like a see-through version of the black one on the right.

We can try that when the mold is ready but it will very probably look grey; unless there is a LOT of black paint mixed with the PC then it may be made so that the inside is visible only when the LED is ON which would be a nice effect.

Have no idea what is added to PC to give it various colors. But I own the PetSafe Small Dog collar and that definitely has a translucent dark color. You can "kinda" see what I'm talking about here:

Sleeping with the DL2000.

Has the DL2000 been tested for comfort over longer periods (say 12-72 hours)? Is sleeping on one's front possible/comfortable?

I realise it's a bit late to start changing things, but kinda hoping it's already been thought of.

You realize you are wearing a chastity device as well as a DL2000 right? Sleeping face down is not going to be possible regardless of whether you wear a DL2000 or not. But if somehow you already sleep in this position with a CBx000 then adding the DL2000 will probably not make things worse.

There is absolutely no comfort penalty when adding the DL2000 to a CB3000 and standing up (normal waking life).

Sleeping is very personal business, most likely someone will be inconvenienced by adding a new plastic part to the equation; however if you can sleep with a chastity belt of any kind on, you probably have little to worry about.

I agree -- if translucent was not an option, I'd go with clear over black or white.

The clear enclosure looks the business by day too. Which makes the interior aesthetics more important so a black PCB and ideally battery would make it perfect. Green just doesn't look appropriately intimidating!

If I remember correctly, the receiver battery has to be replaced when flat so there's scope for supplying alternative colour choices (if possible) for those who wish this. Chrome or red come to mind.

As far as sleeping in the DL2000 I took some time to get comfortable wearing a CBX. I sometimes forget that I have it on. I assume that there will be a break-in period with the Dl2000 attached especially if you sleep on your stomach like I do.

Do most wearers wear their chastity belt for only a few hours, less than a day, 2-3 days, a week or more? It might be helpful to have a poll to profile how your future customers will use the DL2000.
