Conservatively then, by Friday they could be sent to China to arrive in perhaps another 3-4 days. That means that we could be going to assembly Friday Dec 9th. So the DreamLover 2000 could be conceivably restocked by December 16th, however nothing is guaranteed when you deal with so many moving parts.
As for the ChronoVault, we hope to be able to ship units before Xmas without the packaging/pouches but it's a still fairly long shot.
We're working hard to keep this micro business together. The overhead and many problems are seriously aggravating, including stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with production such as accounting mistakes and logistic things that take weeks to resolve. Then we've got US holidays, UK holidays, China holidays.
We do still have 2 DreamLover 2000 units left in stock in the UK at this time.

We had huge trouble this morning because it looked like one of the parts would be out of stock until the end of Feb 2012. However we've found a replacement which should work and so we're a couple parcels away from having all our components ready to go to assembly.

There's only one more time consuming and sensitive part required for the ChronoVault. They're working on it right now.

Back to the pouch, first they said that because of the small quantity they couldn't purchase the material. Now we bought the material and they're still turning down the order. This turned into a colorful email exchange. We need to find a vendor. For the 3rd time.

Here's some real velvet we just bought, against the fake crap velvet we were sent by the manufacturer of these pouches.
The white dust you see is greatly emphasized by the photograph (though no flash was used). The dust is very difficult to remove from the black synthetic velvet, quickly giving it that "piece of crap" (tm) look the manufacturer really wants us to go for. The dust is removed easily from real velvet.
We were initially going to use black to avoid mixing too many colors for this product (the LEDs are red, and the overlay at the bottom is gold on black). However black velvet doesn't look like velvet, go figure. So we chose this nice purple. And now all we need to do is convince the manufacturer to use our material.
Sounds simple? Well... let's see.
