Electrostimulation and electric flow through the human body can cause serious harm. Even with responsible use and equipment designed for safety, true 100% safety cannot be guaranteed. Use this and any electrostimulation equipment at your own risk. By using the DreamLover 2000 and the DL Uplink application you agree to hold DreamLover Labs harmless in regards to any damage, direct or indirect, to people or things, arising from or in coincidence with the use of the aforementioned products.
As the electric pulse administered by the DreamLover 2000 may startle the wearer or cause him to move unexpectedly, it is imperative that proper caution be exercised. The controller (the person activating the device through the remote control or remotely through the internet) must always maintain auditory or visual contact with the wearer. The controller must consider what effects sudden movements may have. The device must never be activated when the controller cannot see or hear the wearer or when the controller is not able to determine what activity - if any - the wearer might be performing. The device must never be worn when the wearer is engaging in potentially risky activities that require concentration. A partial list of such activities:
Before activating any of the advance modes such as Canine mode, Pulse timer mode, leash mode you must familiarize yourself with the remote control buttons
and be able to reset the receiver at once to turn off such modes in case of need. Advanced modes can execute automatically but they have the potential of
delivering frequent pulses if something goes wrong. Therefore, they still require controller supervision throughout their execution.
Canine mode and leash mode must
never be activated when the wearer is not able to change body position as required to avoid pulse delivery.
You shouldn't wear the DL2000 at all if you intend on driving. Driving and activating the device is very irresponsible behavior that may result in serious or
fatal injury. Activating Canine or Leash mode while driving is a worst case scenario that you must absolutely avoid.
Not for use by anyone with a heart condition, heart disease, epilepsy, a history of strokes or seizures or similar medical conditions. Not for use by anyone who has implanted electronic devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, drug pumps, etc.) Absence of such conditions does not constitute an endorsement for the usage of this device. If in doubt, please consult your physician.
The DL2000 receiver's electrodes must not be attached to the body of pregnant women or women who might be pregnant. This device must obviously be kept away from children. If excessive soreness, skin irritation or other conditions develop, discontinue use. Use care in operating the device until you've become familiar with it.
Current flow through the heart, neck or head can be fatal. Current passing through the heart may affect heart function with potentially serious consequences even if the wearer is not aware of it. Do not touch the electrodes while the device is being activated as this may create a current path through the heart. Conversely, do not activate the device while adjusting the electrodes. It is a sensible precaution to wear latex gloves when adjusting the electrodes.
Like many things in life, electrostimulation is not without risks. It must be performed properly and there are certain people who should not use ANY electrostimulation devices including the DreamLover 2000; this includes anyone with a heart condition.
Given the nature of electrostimulation, DreamLover Labs cannot be liable for any damage or harm of any kind caused by or related to DreamLover Labs products. Products must be used properly and responsibly to avoid serious injury. Products must be used only by healthy, consenting adults familiar with safe electrostimulation and proper operation of the equipment. Both the wearer (the person wearing the DL2000 receiver) and the controller (the person using the DL2000 remote control or activating the receiver through a remote connection through the DL2K-LINK) must:
The DL2000 remote control has several safety functions built into the device, and you should understand them and make use of them.
DL2000 electrodes are optimized in shape and size to be connected to the male genitalia (one on the scrotum and one below the glans) by mounting the DL2000 on a male chastity device. Do not attempt to mount electrodes anywhere else on the body. Do not use the device when the skin at the electrodes location is bruised, inflamed or otherwise damaged. Bruised skin or skin with open wounds can allow several times the default current to pass through, with potentially very negative consequences.
If you have experimented with pulses up to level 3 and still cannot feel a strong pulse, the electrodes may not be making proper contact. Do not attempt to customize the pulse to raise the power under these circumstances. Rather, adjust the electrodes. Electrodes do not need to be moist. It is sufficient for them to adhere to the skin. No electrode gel is required. Some conductive rubber accessories may limit the transmitted current.
Increase levels gradually and use caution if using the DL2000 on someone else. First start with the "pager" function which delivers the lowest strength pulse just to notify the wearer. This will enable you to test proper electrode contact.
Do not attempt to modify the DL2000 electrodes, in particular with the intent of stimulating body areas rather than the indended ones. In particular, absolutely refrain from attempting to use the DL2000 to achieve anal or urethral stimulation; these areas have very different resistance and the voltage produced by the DL2000 may damage tissue.
Never make connections to body jewelry or similarly small electrodes. Do not use electrodes made of toxic metals such as lead solder. If you intend to use the DreamLover 2000 on someone else, you should experiment with it on yourself first. Never connect the electrodes to more than one person at a time.
Do not attempt to repair or modify circuitry. For both the remote control and receiver, do not use batteries provided by other vendors unless you have verified with DreamLover Labs whether they will be compatible. Do not activate the device while connecting or adjusting the electrodes.
The DL2000 and DL2K-LINK, like most electronic devices, should be
treated with reasonable care.
The DL2000 receiver is water-proof but its resistance to water depends on proper mounting and pressure on all rubber
parts. If water penetrates the enclosure, the receiver may be permanently damaged. It is recommended you first close the receiver's enclosure without the PCB
and leave it in the water (possibly under a faucet or a similar high pressure jet of water) for 15 minutes or so to determine whether you have properly understood
how to close the device. If no water enters the enclosure, you may open it, insert the PCB and proceed. It is recommended you carry out this test at least a couple
of times before inserting the PCB.
The DL2000 remote control and the DL2K-LINK are not water-proof and will be damaged by water.
Other precautions common to electronic devices: do not drop, leave them in the sun (especially in a hot car in a sunny day) etc.
Do not use the DL2000 along with or around
"violet wand" devices. Their extreme voltages can
damage many electronic devices. Remove the batteries
before traveling with, packing, or shipping the DL2000.
