Canton Fair

The Canton fair will be held from April 15 to May 5th less than an hour away.

"Held each April and October, Canton Fair is China's largest trade fair with a complete product range of Chinese Commodities. It is divided into three phases, with the first phase focusing on Machinery, Electrical and Electronic products, the second phase focusing on Home and Decoration, while the third phase focusing on textiles, garments and fashion accessories."







This will be a total rubber/plastic/electronics/textile bonanza with metric tons of cheap goods and thousands of exporters showcasing everything from new technologies to pointless junk with flashing LEDs. We'll go undercover and mix in with as many thousands of big import business reps from western countries. Great opportunity to negotiate a good deal with reputable manufacturers. For one, we'll try to find a supplier of DL2000 waist straps. Blister pack/packaging producers will also be a target. If you can think of any other important areas to cover let us know. We'll report on it!

Oh...that waist strap seems like a good idea. If it's lockable, it could also provide additional "pullout" security for the CBXXX. If you can't pull the unit away from your body, you can't pull out. A bonus benefit!
