Due to the sudden and unexpected series of tormented dreams the DreamLover Labs team has reported since the beginning of the initial DL2000 R&D phase, including vivid snapshots of diagrams, circuit layouts and pulse characteristics, and the unusual shape of the device... to the way in which they have found themselves unable to stop compulsively developing this technology in the face of all adversities... and to the unusual and superior design and technology used, some have speculated that the DreamLover 2000 construction plans are actually being communicated telepathically by a technologically advanced race with a gynarchically structured society.
Reasons for disclosure
We waited to come out with this information because we did not have evidence for or against such theories nor did we wish to alert the population unnecessarily or
give false hope (as the case may be).
 However the recent and unreported recovery of what seems to be an old Pioneer 10 probe relict in New Mexico thickens the mystery. Before being quickly seized by government officials (who deceptively misreported the incident as a satellite collision) local UFOlogists have managed to take a snapshot of what seems to be a revised "first contact" plate. 
Possible intentions
If the extraterrestrials really are sending back our plate, indicative of our origins and society, with revisions and corrections, and communicating to us the necessary diagrams to create high technology male management devices, then it is quite likely that they could be urging us to get our men under control, possibly in preparation for their imminent arrival.
First contact
Perhaps this is simply a friendly nearby civilization wishing to communicate to us the differences between their culture and ours. And what better means of
communication than the universal concepts of mathematics and technology? Perhaps telepathy at these sort of distances is technically easy compared to actual interstellar travel.
Perhaps this civilization thrives not by physically travelling through the universe, but by spreading its memes telepathically.
Welcoming us to a Female Led federation of planets?
It is possible that as different regions industralize, and technology makes physical strength and provider roles obsolete, the role of males becomes increasingly smaller in the vast majority of emerging civilizations. As the hierarchy of power becomes more and more consolidated and unchanging an additional drive for control of resources would provide no definite advantage, especially in a nanotech world where scarcity has been eliminated and a fair, AI-enabled and AI-protected type of collective welfare system is in place.
In a post nanotechnology world, personal services would be one of the very few remaining barter items; hence, the weakening position and disappearing role
of males in such a society would make them suited for use for entertainment and service. If this logic is correct, then we should expect the majority if not all civilizations out there to be based on gynarchy, and we could be on the verge of being accepted in a Female Dominanted federation.
Colonization
 It is also possible, however, that the gynarchic society is preparing to colonize our planet. In a post nanotech world, solid land mass under one's feet would still have value, and our planet's ideal distance from the sun would make it fairly valuable to beings with a similar biology to ours.
If colonization is what we have on our hands, it is possible that our society is being urged to restructure in order to accommodate our new gynarchic overlords. The fate of earth females is not clear - those who lean towards female supremacy and will enthusiastically join them may be considered fit and given an option to be upgraded cognitively and physically to function in the new society.
The fate of males however is pretty much sealed given what we know about how they use their technology: they will likely be trained, enhanced and subdued by robotic means and
those who demonstrate desirable qualities may be allowed to serve and entertain
in this Female Led interplanetary order. Judging from what we have been able to build under their influence and using obsolete earth components, their male management technology must be nothing short of spectacular.
Warning
Though the above is 99% speculation, it is a possibility that if this theory is correct, the DL2000 may, unbeknownst to us, feature a dial home "beacon".
We must consider all possibilities since this is an unknown species. For all we know this may include abduction and experimentation on earth males with the aim of automating their control and adapting them to serve their new masters.
If you do NOT want to be among the first to have the opportunity to mix and be assimilated by this advanced female led civilization, please POSTPONE PURCHASE until this issue has been settled.
On the other hand, early adoption and showing a preparedness and willingness to accept their customs and rule may prove to be the safest bet.
A test?
Scary to think that the fate of our species may rest on the commercial success and social impact of our product.
Are we being tested to assess our degree of readiness to join a female dominated civilization? What will happen if we fail in our mission?
The DreamLover 2000 is our only connection and channel of communication. We think it is never too early to begin collecting pledges of alliance from willing earth males. We will embed these messages and pledges in the firmware of our product which will no doubt be closely scrutinized by their scientists.
